The MOLECULAR WINE MICROBIOLOGY book edited by CSIC researchers win the OIV 2012 Award

Since 1930, the International Organisation of the Vine and Wine (OIV) rewards the best works published over the past two previous years which provide a relevant contribution for the vine and wine sector.

During the 35th annual OIV Congress held in Izmir (Turkey) in June 2012, the MOLECULAR WINE MICROBIOLOGY book has been awarded with the OIV 2012 Award in the Enology category by the OIV Award jury. The awards ceremony will take place in December 17, 2012 in Paris.

The book has been coordinated by Alfonso V. Carrascosa, Rosario Muñoz, and Ramón González from the CSIC. This book brings together contributions from a range of experts on the microbiology of wine working in universities, research centers, and industry.

The MOLECULAR WINE MICROBIOLOGY book is an useful tool for researchers and educators working in both the private and public sectors.
