ICTAN researcher Óscar Martínez wins best poster award at the 52nd annual WEFTA congress

The researcher from the Institute of Food Science and Technology and Nutrition (ICTAN-CSIC) Óscar Martínez Álvarez, from the group ‘Development, Valorisation and Innovation of Fishery Products’ (INNOVAPESCA), has received the prize for the best poster at the 52nd annual WEFTA (West European Fish Technologists Association) congress. The poster, entitled ‘Development of a sustainable process to obtain bioactive hydrolysates from common starfish (Asterias rubens) proteins’, is the result of a collaborative work with the pre-doctoral student Alisson Daniela Sissa and the researcher Mauricio Mosquera, both from the Escuela Politécnica Nacional de Quito (Ecuador), funded by the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas with an I-COOP project.
