Short Bio
Dr. M. Elvira López-Caballero is Tenured Researcher at the Institute of Food Science and Technology and Nutrition, ICTAN-CSIC. Her research lines include quality, security and spoilage of seafood, valorisation of by-products and wastes from seafood and agronomy, and minimal processing. She has also expertise in edible packaging and encapsulation of bioactive compounds, especially in the effect on microorganisms. ME López Caballero has participated in many international, national and industrial projects. She is co-author of numerous articles indexes in SCI journals and book chapters in subjects related to Food and Seafood Technology.
