Objetives

This group is committed to investigating the physiological and biochemical underpinnings of fruit ripening, directing efforts towards the development of advanced postharvest technologies. Our aim is to enhance fruit preservation, safety, organoleptic characteristics, and nutritional value from harvest to consumption. The research focuses on understanding and improving postharvest processes to extend shelf life, ensure food safety, and elevate the quality of agricultural products. We seek innovative solutions that address current challenges in food science and technology, significantly contributing to consumer well-being and the sustainability of the food sector.
